Men's Tennis Defeats Davidson, 5-2

Boston College won its sixth consecutive match on Friday afternoon, defeating Davidson, 5-2, at the Knoblach Tennis Center.
Davidson claimed two of three doubles matches to notch the first point of the day. The Eagles (8-9, 2-0) responded in singles play, however, as they registered straight-set wins in the top three positions.
Sophomore Soma Kesthely defeated Davidson's Donald Miles, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and senior Chris McCoy won by the same score in the No. 2 position. Freshman Artom Bogdanovich won in the No. 3 slot.
Freshman Jason Sechrist clinched the victory for the Eagles with his three-set victory over Russ Burns at No. 5 singles. Sechrist fought off two match points before pulling out a 1-6, 7-6 (6), 6-2 win.
BC will take on Charlotte and Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday.
