Men's Tennis Rolls Against URI

The Boston College men's tennis team won its first match of the spring season on Saturday afternoon, defeating the University of Rhode Island, 7-0. The Eagles improve to 1-1.
BC did not drop a set in the match and the Rams were unable to get more than three games in a set in any of the singles matches.
Sophomore Soma Kesthely rolled at No. 1 singles, defeating URI's Rob Sutphen - 6-3, 6-0. Senior co-captain Chris McCoy looked sharp in the No.2 slot, registering a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Dustin Parente.
The Eagles won all three doubles matches convincingly, dropping no more than five games in any of the eight-game matches.
Boston College will host future ACC foe Clemson next Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Flynn Complex.
