Women's Soccer Lands Four Signees

Women's Soccer head coach Alison Foley announced the signing of four recruits this week. These four will play on the Eagles' squad beginning in the 2005 fall season.
Three of the four recruits hail from the northeast- one from Connecticut, one from Pennsylvania and one from New York- as the other is out of Austin, Texas.
Caroline Walden - Guilford Conn./Hopkins
5'9", Defense/Midfield
Before BC:
Broke school record with 67 career goals... ss a senior named All-League, All-State, All-New England, Youth All-American, HS All-American, CGSCA Player of the Year and NSCAA Connecticut State Player of the Year...as a junior named All-League, All-State and All-New England...as a sophomore named All-League, All-State and Youth All-American...as a freshman named All-League...named to the Under-16 and Under-17 National Teams...member of the Regional I ODP Team from 2000-2005....member of the Connecticut ODP Team from 1999-2005....also captained track team and received four letters in both soccer and track.

Born January 11, 1987...Caroline is the oldest of Susanna and Richard Walden's three children.
Caitlin Burke - Austin, Texas/St. Stephen's Episcopal

Notched 376 points (128 goals and 120 assists) in her high school career...named team captain in her sophomore and junior years...As a junior named to the All-SPC Team and led squad to state champion...as a sophomore named All-SPC and her team's most valuable player...as a freshman (Oyster River High School/Durham, N.H.) named to all-State first team and the Foster's Daily Democrat Dream Team, earned Boston Globe All-Star honors and named Portsmouth Herald's Player of the Year...member of 1997-2001 New Hampshire ODP team and was 2000-2002 ODP National Champion...member of 2002-2003 South Texas ODP Team and won the 2002 National Championship...member of the 1998-2002 Region 1 ODP Team and the 2002-2003 Region 3 ODP Team...a national camp invitee for three years (2000-2002)...also played basketball, softball (All-SPC, Team MVP), field hockey and track in high school.

Sarah Buonomo - Churchville, Penn./ Council Rock South
6'0", Goalkeeper
Before BC:
Backbone of the two-time state champion Council Rock High School South team (senior and sophomore seasons)... as a senior earned coach's award, All-State honorable mention, member of the Region 1 Team...as a junior was Colonial League champion, earned All-State honorable mention...as a sophomore named Council Rock Rookie of the Year and earned All-State honorable mention...twice earned Scholar Athlete Award and named to National Honor Society her senior year...also played volleyball (senior captain, two varsity letters) and basketball.

Born May 22, 1987...Sarah is the one of Kathleen and Louis Buonomo's eight children.
Kerri McNicholas - East Islip, N.Y./ East Islip
5'3", Midfield
Before BC:
As a senior captain put up 38 points (13 goals and 12 assists), named NSCAA All-Region, All-State, All-Long Island, Suffolk County Player of the Year and league's most valuable player...a member of the East New York ODP team for six seasons and the ODP Regional Team for five seasons (2001 National Champions)...traveled to Spain, Ireland and France with regional team...was class valedictorian, AP scholar and a member of the National Honor Society...also played varsity basketball.
