
Women's Tennis Lands Four on ITA Regional Rankings

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Senior Szilvia Szegedi and three freshmen earned a spot in the women's ITA fall individual rankings. The Eagles landed three players in the top 30 singles, and four on the top 15 doubles rankings.
Szegedi, who holds a career 41-24 record in singles at BC, is ranked No. 20. Freshman Lana Krasnopolsky finished the fall season with a 9-2 record, earning a ranking of 17th. Fellow freshman Dasha Cherkasov also claimed a spot in the rankings at No. 22.
On the doubles side, Cherkasov and Krasnoplsky, had a strong showing in the fall, securing the No. 7 spot in the rankings. Szegedi and freshman Alina Sullivan finished with a 4-1 record in the fall, gaining the tandem a No. 10 ranking.
The Eagles first ACC opponent, Maryland, landed two players in the top 25 singles rankings.
