Quandt Earns Hockey East Player of the Week

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Senior goalie and co-captain, Alison Quandt has earned Hockey East's Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday. Quandt had 21 saves, including two in the overtime period giving the Eagles their first win in 35 meetings over the Wildcats.
Quandt now stands at 2-0-2 on the season with 80 saves and an .899 save percentage. The senior goaltender has allowed nine goals this season and posts a 2.11 goals against average.
Quandt is currently third on the school's career goals against average list and is also second and sixth on BC's goals against average in a season.
Freshman forward, Becky Zavisza was named to the Hockey East honor roll this week as she notched the gamewinner against New Hampshire on Saturday night. Zavisza is currently tied for first on the team in goals scored with five on the season.
The Eagles return to action on Tuesday night against No. 6 Dartmouth at Kelley Rink. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
