
Ellison Named Defensive Player of the Week

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshman goalie, Johanna Ellison has been named Hockey East's Defensive Player of the Week in an announcement made by the league office on Monday. Ellison totaled 40 saves against No. 10 Princeton on Oct. 28 as the two teams ended in a 2-2 draw.
Ellison is now 1-0-1 in her first season of collegiate play. The freshman goaltender has 57 saves on the season with a .919 save percentage. She has allowed five goals over two games with a 2.41 goals against average.
BC remains undefeated and now stands at 2-0-3 overall on the season and 1-0-1 in Hockey East play. The Eagles return to league action on Friday as they take on the New Hampshire Wildcats in Durham, N.H. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
