Men's and Women's Swimming Defeat Brandeis

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College men's and women's swimming and diving teams soundly defeated Brandeis at the Flynn Recreational Complex for thier second win of the year.
The men beat the Judges 154-101, while the women won 157-118. Five swimmers won two events for the Eagles.
On the men's side, Thomas Nececkas won both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke. Craig Lewin finished first in the 1000-freestyle and and the 200-yard butterfly. Heather Page took both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke on the women's side.
The Eagles swept the diving competition, with Jennifer Rhines and Christopher Wilson-Byrne winning the 1-meter and 3-meter events.
Freshmen Krista Capece, Caroline Hayes and Holly Mesuda all picked up wins for the Eagles as well.
BC's next meet will take place Friday against Fordham at 7 p.m.
