Soccer Buzz Announces Women's Soccer Year-End Awards

Four Boston College women's soccer players were named All Northeast according to an announcement by SoccerBuzz.com. The publication picked from the 41 Division 1 teams in the Northeast Region.
Kia McNeill, one of two Eagles selected to the All-Northeast First Team, was named the region's Freshman of the Year. Inside back Lindsey McArdle also received first-team recognition.
Midfielder Jenny Maurer was the Eagles' sole selection to the second team. Outside back Mary Schneck was named to the All-Northeast Third Team.
In addition to the four players chosen to the All-Northeast teams, BC had three players named to the All-Freshman Northeast Region Team. The list is topped by Freshman of the Year Kia McNeill.
Also selected to the team were midfielder Maddie Johnson and back Katie Coffey. Johnson amassed nine points on three goals and three assists, including one game-winning tally. Coffey played in 19 games for the Eagles this season, starting 15.
