Four Players Elected To All-Northeast Region Team

Four Boston College women's soccer players received All-Northeast Region honors according to an announcement made by the NSCAA. Only the University of Connecticut had as many players named to the region's first and second team.
Freshman forward Kia McNeill, Big East Rookie of the Year, was one of four forwards named to the All-Northeast Region First Team. McNeill started all 23 games for the Eagles, notching 22 points on 10 goals and two assists. She was also named to the All-New England First Team.
Three other Eagles were selected for the second team. Sweeper Lindsey McArdle, also an All-New England First Team selection, represents the BC backfield on the list.
Midfielder Jenny Maurer joins McArdle on the second team. Maurer tallied 15 points on four goals and seven assists. Maurer has accumulated numerous accolades this season, including being named to the All-Big East Second Team and the Academic All-District 1 Team.
Laina Ceddia rounds out the selections for BC. Ceddia finished second on the team in scoring with 18 points on seven goals and four assists. She was also named to the All-Big East Second Team.
