Men's Track Finishes Eighth At Northeastern

The Boston College men's track team saw big performances out of its young runners at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games at Northeastern on Friday afternoon.
Freshman Adam Moitoso came in third in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:00.09. It was the first time Moitoso had run the event this season.
Sophomore Daniel LaFave and freshman Connor Farrell also had big days for BC, finishing third and fourth, respectively, in the 800-meter run. LaFave finished in 1:56.84 and Farrell was just behind in 1:56.84.
Freshman Dan Springer earned a point for the Eagles in the mile, finishing eighth in 4:24.71. His twin brother, Josh, was 15th in the event. Sophomore Louis Canelli was fourth in the high jump with a mark of six feet, six inches.
Boston College accumulated 29 points at the meet, beating squads from Williams, Massachusetts, Roberts Wesleyan, Maine, Colgate and Holy Cross.
