Men's XC Places Fifth At Iona Meet Of Champions

Men's cross country notched a fifth place finish at the Iona College Meet of Champions this weekend in New York. Drew Bouchard's 17th place finish boosted BC to a fifth place finish overall in the race. Host school Iona College won the race, tallying 35 team points overall.
Senior Bouchard ran a 25:40.6 on Sunday. He was the top finisher for the Eagles, who placed five runners in the top 55 of the race.
Other notable finishers for BC were senior Trevor Rozier-Byrd and Mark Alizzi. Rozier-Byrd came in with a time of 26:00.6 and placed 25th overall. Alizzi ran a 26:20.7 and finished in the 43rd spot.
Freshman Adam Moitoso, top finisher in BC's first race, ended with a 53rd place finish.
The next race for the Eagle men is on October 8 at 1 p.m. at the New England Championships. The race will take place at Franklin Park is Boston.
