The Boston College Women's Soccer Team squares off against city-rival Boston University this Friday, August 27th at 7 pm. The Eagles open the season at Nickerson Field against the America East conference champions Terriers, who posted a 12-6-5 record in 2003. Last season, BC beat the Terriers in the early season bout by a score of 3-1 at the Newton Campus Field. Current Eagles Katie McGregor and Jenny Maurer tallied goals in the game. BU is tabbed to win the America East once again in 2004 according to their coaches' poll. BC, who boasts a tougher in-conference schedule, is predicted to hold the fourth slot in the BIG EAST. There are few, but important, holes left by graduates going into this season. This Friday's game at BU will be an important test to check the immediate resilience of this young squad.
