ITHACA, N.Y. - Senior Allison Ashley (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) defeated Laura Leigh Tallent in three sets to pace Boston College in a 5-2 non-conference win over Cornell Sunday.
The win marked the Eagles second in as many days and the sixth straight overall.
Boston College improves to 11-5 overall and remains 1-2 in conference play. The Eagles swept all three doubles matches and collected singles wins in the top three spots.
BC returns home to host UMass Amherst, Tuesday, April 13 at the Flynn Recreation Complex. The match gets underway at 2:00 p.m.
