HARTFORD, Conn. - The Boston College women's basketball team will participate in the 2004 BIG EAST Championship Tournament, presented by State Farm, held March 6-9 at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Fans will be able to follow the Eagles on the BIG EAST Web site, www.bigeast.org. Access to box scores as well as live play-by-play from each contest will be available on the site. Statistics will be updated as the game is being played, allowing for real-time access to player information and scoring.
Boston College is the fifth seed in the tournament and will play No. 12 Syracuse Saturday at noon. The winner will advance to face fourth-seeded Miami Sunday at noon.
