Jacobs To Participate In 3-Point Shooting Championship

San Antonio, Texas - Boston College senior point guard Amber Jacobs (Clarks Summit, Pa.) will participate in the 16th Annual Mountain Dew College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Shooting Championships. The event, bringing together college basketball's top three-point shooters and slam dunk artists, will be held at the 2004 Final Four city of San Antonio.
This premier event has come to be recognized as the tip-off to Final Four weekend and features players from the nation's best men's and women's programs competing for an exciting evening that has become a cornerstone of ESPN's Final Four programming.
The nation's best collegiate dunkers and men's and women's three-point shooters square off in a series of events designed to test their skills. Events include the Men's Slam Dunk Contest, the Men's 3-point Shooting Contest, the Women's 3-point Shooting Contest, and the Battle of the Sexes (3-point shooting contest).
The event will be broadcast on ESPN during the following times: Thursday, April 1 9:00-11:00 p.m. EST Friday, April 2 3:00-5:00 p.m. EST Saturday, April 3 1:00-3:00 p.m. EST Sunday, April 4 1:30-3:30 a.m. EST Wednesday, April 7 3:00-5:00 a.m. EST
