Men's And Women's Basketball Headed To NCAA Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's and women's basketball teams will both be making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as was selected to the respective 64-team fields on selection Sunday.
The women's team earned the third seed in the Mideast region and will travel to Columbus, Ohio for a first-round game against 14th-seeded Eastern Michigan on Saturday, March 20. The two teams will tip off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one which begins at 11:00 a.m. (EST). Should they win, the Eagles will face the winner of sixth-seeded Ohio State versus 11th-seeded West Virginia. That game will be Monday.
The Mideast regional will be played March 28 & 30 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
The men's team earned the sixth seed in the St. Louis regional and will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a first-round game against 11th-seeded Utah at 11:30 a.m. (CST) on Friday, March 19. Should they win, the Eagles will face the winner of third-seeded Georgia Tech versus 14th-seeded Northern Iowa. That game will be Sunday.
The St. Louis regional will be played March 26 & 28 at Edward Jones Dome.
