Women's Tennis Defeats Cincinnati

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's tennis team took five of six singles matches and all three doubles contests en route to a 6-1 defeat of Cincinnati Friday evening at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The Eagles improve to 3-2 on the season. Juniors Szilvia Szegedi (Dumakeszi, Hungary) and Morgan Landes (Huron, Ohio) improve to 4-1 on the season in dual-match singles play.
Earning her first dual match victory of the 2004 season, junior Emily Yeomans (Lafayette, Calif.) teamed with senior Emily Hellberg (Spring Lake, Mich.) to defeat Julie Klauck and Christina Reyes, 8-4, in no. 2 doubles competition.
Boston College heads to Las Vegas, Nev. for the UNLV Invitational, Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, Feb. 29. While out west, the Eagles will face San Diego (3/2) and Long Beach State (3/4).
