Men's Track Competes In FasTrack Invitational Hosted By BU

BOSTON - Freshman Louis Canelli (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) cleared 6'4?" and placed seventh in high jump competition while senior Keith Normant (Needham, Mass.) leaped 44'8?" to place 10th in the long jump to lead Boston College men's track competitors at the FasTrack Invitational hosted by Boston University, Saturday, Feb. 15.
The men also placed a trio of performers in the top 20 in their respective events. Junior Ashley Jefferson (Newton, Mass.) finished behind Normant in the triple jump, bounding 41'5?" and placing 13th. Anthony Calabro (Cornwall on Hudson, N.Y.) led all BC runners in the 800-meter event finishing in 1:55.58, which placed him 17th, and Percy Addo-Yobo (Tarrytown, N.Y.) grabbed 20th in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:30.59.
The men's track and field team heads to Syracuse, N.Y. this weekend for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships.
