Women's Fencing Falls At Brandeis

Waltham, Mass. - The Boston College women's fencing team dropped its third meet of the season on Sunday at Brandeis University. The meet featured five other teams, Vassar, MIT, St. John's, Brown, and Brandeis. The Eagles are now 5-3 overall is dual meets this season.
The women's epee squad had an impressive performance at the meet. The team beat each of the opposing epee squads, including a 7-2 victory over St. John's. Senior Tiffany White won a remarkable 14 of her 15 bouts, improving her season record to 19-2. Her two squad mates had equally solid showings. Clara Yum was 11-4 for the day while Genevieve Peeples went 10-5.
The Eagles return to action on January 29 when they will once again face Brown, MIT and Brandeis in Northeast Fencing Conference action. The meet will be held in Providence, R.I.
