Sarah Feldman Named Hockey East Rookie Of The Week

Wakefield, Mass. - Sarah Feldman earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors in an announcement made by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The honor is Feldman's second in as many weeks.
Feldman recorded her first career hat trick to lead the Eagles to a 3-0 victory over Vermont on Tuesday night. On Sunday against Princeton she notched a goal in the 3-2 overtime loss.
In 16 games the freshman has tallied a team-leading 12 goals, including six on the power-play. She has eight assists on the season. Feldman is tied for sixth in the league with 20 points and leads all freshmen in goals.
Earlier this year Feldman took home Rookie of the Month honors for October.
This is the fourth time a BC rookie has earned the award this season. Deborah Spillane and Colleen Harris have also been recognized by the conference.
BC (4-11-1) will have a few weeks off before heading to Lake Placid, N.Y. on January 1 to face Clarkson University at 4 p.m.
