No. 13 Field Hockey Selected For NCAA Tournament

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Boston College field hockey team is one of 16 teams selected to participate in the 2004 NCAA Field Hockey Championship, as announced Tuesday night by the NCAA Division I Women's Field Hockey Committee.
The 13th-ranked Eagles (17-5) will be one of four teams at the Ann Arbor, Michigan regional site. Held at Phyllis Ocker Field on the campus of the University of Michigan, the region will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 13-14. The Eagles will face No. 8 Michigan State (16-3) at 2:00 p.m. in their first game of the tournament. The winner will face the winner of the No. 5 Michigan (16-5) vs. Pacific (11-9) game, which will be played at 11:00 a.m.
Winners of each of the four regionals will advance to the NCAA Field Hockey Championships to be held at Kentner Stadium on the campus of Wake Forest University November 26 (4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) and 28 (12:30 p.m.).
