Spillane Honored By Hockey East

Deborah Spillane earned ITECH Rookie of the Week honors on Monday afternoon for her performances over the weekend. The freshman scored two of BC's four goals in a split weekend on the road. The Eagles fell to New Hampshire on Friday night and won their first game of the season on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Vermont.
Spillane netted her first goal of the season on Friday at New Hampshire. Classmate, Sarah Feldman assisted on the goal. Spillane continued her scoring punch on Saturday afternoon. The Franklin, Mass. native tallied the first goal of the game on another pass from Feldman.
Spillane leads BC with four assists on the season and is second on the team with six points.
Spillane is the first Eagle to receive this honor so far in the 2004-05 season. BC will continue play on Friday when it hosts Connecticut in Hockey East action at 7 p.m.
