Sarah Feldman Named Rookie Of The Month

Sarah Feldman earned Hockey East ITECH Rookie of the Month honors this afternoon. The Fall River, Mass. native currently leads BC and all conference rookies with seven points on the young season.
Feldman opened up the season by scoring the team's first goal of the year against Wayne State. She notched two more goals the following day to close out the series with the Warriors. Feldman scored five goals in the first four games of her collegiate career.
This past weekend Feldman continued to be productive. She assisted on two of BC's four goals over the weekend. The freshman earned the assist on the Eagle's only goal in a loss to Dartmouth on Friday night and added another assist on Saturday in a 3-1 victory over Vermont. Feldman has now recorded a point in each of the last six games.
Linemate, Deborah Spillane also received conference honors this week. The freshman earned ITECH Rookie of the Week for her two-goal performance over the weekend. Feldman assisted on both of Spillane's goals.
BC will host its second Hockey East game of the season on Friday, November 5 at 7 p.m. when Connecticut travels to Kelley Rink.
