Eagles Travel To Dartmouth And Vermont This Weekend

The Eagles will look to capture their first win of the season on the road this weekend. BC will travel to Hanover, N.H. on Friday to face Dartmouth (0-0-0) at 5 p.m. and to Burlington, Vt. on Saturday to play Vermont (1-5-1) at 4 p.m.
The BC squad is looking to bounce back from a tough weekend. The Eagles dropped their first Hockey East game of the season on Sunday to New Hampshire 6-1.
BC has seen the most production from the offensive line of three freshmen. Sarah Feldman, Deborah Spillane, and Colleen Harris have combined for 13 points on the season. Feldman leads the team in scoring with five goals, while Spillane has tallied a team-high four assists. Harris has registered three assists and added one goal.
Cristin Stuart and Sarah Carlson have been dominating defensively for the Eagles. Goaltender Alison Quandt has played in the first six games for BC. The junior has stopped 85 shots for a .833 save percentage.
Friday will be the first game of the regular season for the Big Green. Dartmouth opened its season with a 3-2 exhibition win over the East Coast Wizards. Junior Katie Weatherston returns as last season's leading scorer. As a sophomore she scored 29 goals and tallied 48 points.
BC will continue play on Saturday against Vermont. This will be the sixth meeting between the two teams. BC holds a 3-2 edge over the Catamounts. Last season Vermont topped the Eagles 3-1. Hillary Johnson leads Vermont with four points on two goals and two assists on the season.
