Kia McNeill Earns BIG EAST Accolades

Freshman forward Kia McNeill (Avon, Conn.) put together a four-point week and earned BIG EAST Rookie of the Week. This is the first weekly honor bestowed upon McNeill, who currently has 18 points on eight goals and two assists.
McNeill registered a goal against both St. John's and Syracuse to boost the Eagles to clinch a home quarterfinal match in the postseason. The goals lifted BC to a 3-1 win over the Red Storm and a 2-0 win over the Lady Orange of Syracuse.
Tara Luciani is the only other Eagle to take Rookie of the Week honors thus far this season (October 4).
