Eagles Drop Opening Round Match To Princeton, 5-2

The Eagles dropped their first match of the ECAC Men's Tennis Invitational, 5-2, to a tough Princeton team on Friday afternoon.
Boston College, ranked 13th in the draw, saw promising play from sophomore Soma Kesthely, who registered a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Princeton sophomore Hans Plukas in No. 3 singles action.
The only other win for the Eagles over the fourth-seeded Tigers came from the No. 6 singles slot, where freshman Chris Louis won a tough 2-6, 6-4, (10-7) match over Shannon Morales.
BC will head into the consolation bracket on Saturday afternoon at the USTA Tennis Center in New York.
