Eagles Take Fourth Place At Plymouth State Carnival

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. - Senior Erica Pylman (Old Forge City, N.Y.) placed seventh in slalom racing and ninth in giant slalom competition as the Boston College women's ski team raced its way to a fourth-place performance at the Plymouth State Carnival, Jan. 24-25.
Freshmen Courtney Culane (Stratton, Vt.) and Kara Hoisington (Carrabasset Valley, Maine) turned in top ten races in the slalom event.
Pylman was the only Eagle to place within the top ten in both events. Freshman Molly McCary (Edina, Minn.) finished 15th in the giant slalom event.
On the men's side, senior Seth Therrien (Yakima, Wash.) placed fourth in slalom racing and seventh in giant slalom competition as the men's team grabbed second-place.
Freshman Greg Avallon (Beverly, Mass.) turned in another solid performance taking eighth in the slalom and 13th in the giant slalom while senior Dave Giulietti (Farmington, Conn.) turned in a strong giant slalom race grabbing sixth place.
Both ski teams are back in action this Saturday, Jan. 31 at the Brown University Carnival.
