Women's Soccer Ranked No. 20 In NSCAA/adidas Poll

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its weekly rankings this afternoon and the Boston College women's soccer team is ranked 20th in the nation. The Eagles jumped two spots from a week ago when they were ranked 22nd. Boston College is one of four ranked teams from the BIG EAST. Joining the Eagles in the Top 25 are Notre Dame (3), Connecticut (8) and West Virginia (12). The Eagles maintained their position as the second-ranked team in the Northeast Region, behind only Connecticut (2-0-1). To view the complete poll, visit www.nscaa.com.
Boston College is coming off a successful weekend, during which they defeated Georgetown and Virginia Commonwealth to win the Eurosport Hoya Classic at Georgetown. The Eagles will be back in action at home on Friday at 4:00 p.m. when they welcome the Quinnipiac Bobcats to Newton Campus Field.
