Women's Soccer Ranked No. 22 In Coaches Poll

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its first regular season polls on Monday and the Boston College women's soccer team was ranked 22nd in Division I. This marks BC's highest ranking since September 16 of last year when the Eagles reached number 21. BC is one of four BIG EAST teams in the rankings. They are joined by Notre Dame (5), Connecticut (12) and West Virginia (17).
The Eagles earned their ranking with wins in their first two games of the 2003 season. BC opened with a 10-0 win over Wagner and then followed with a 3-1 victory over Boston University. The Eagles will open their road schedule on Friday when they travel to Georgetown to take on the Hoyas at 5:00 p.m.
