Women's Soccer Announces the Addition of Three Recruits

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer has added three recruits to its 2003 recruiting class, head coach Alison Foley announced Wednesday, May 28. Jennifer Maurer, Jillian Raybould and Katie West will enroll at Boston College in September of 2003.
Maurer, a four-year letterwinner at East Longmeadow High School in East Longmeadow, Mass., was an All-America honoree her senior year. She was named Gatorade player of the year for Massachusetts and has also been selected to compete in the McDonalds' All-American game. She is a two-time All-New England selection and a four-time All-Massachusetts honoree. While excelling on the field, she also was a stand-out student, serving as secretary for her school's National Honor Society chapter.
Raybould, a native of Leawood, Kan., played three seasons at St. Teresa's Academy in Kansas City, Miss. Raybould earned All-State first team accolades her sophomore and junior seasons. On the club circuit, she was a member of the Kansas State Team for eight years. In the classroom, Raybould was an Academic All-America scholar and was the president of her school's Nation Honor Society chapter. She was also the news editor for her school's newspaper.
West was a member of the Sereno Golden Eagles for five years. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native won numerous state championships with her club team and was a key member of her high school team, Xavier College Prep. At Xavier, she was named the 2002 Desert Valley Region Player of the Year.
