KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The men's tennis team routed Valparaiso, 7-0, on Friday, March 7.
The Eagles (4-9) went nine-for-nine on the day, sweeping the six singles matches and three doubles matches from the Crusaders (0-5).
BC won four of the singles matches in straight sets while the other two were marathons. At No. 1, junior Justin Slattery (Hampton, N.H.) rallied past Ben Dunham-Freer, 5-7, 6-2, 10-8, while sophomore Bob Murray (Kenner, La.) outlasted Jay Adams at No. 6, 6-0, 5-7, 10-8.
After a hiatus of more than three weeks, the Eagles next play Rhode Island at home on Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m.
