PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Boston College women's basketball team will participate in the 2003 BIG EAST Championship Tournament, presented by State Farm, held March 8-11 at the Louis Brown Athletic Center on the Piscataway campus of Rutgers University.
Fans will be able to follow the Eagles on the BIG EAST Web site, www.bigeast.org. Access to box scores as well as live play-by-play from each contest will be available on the site. Statistics will be updated as the game is being played, allowing for real-time access to player information and scoring.
Boston College earned a first-round bye as the fourth seed. The Eagles will face the winner of #5 Virginia Tech and #12 West Virginia at noon on Sunday, March 9.
