
Women's Tennis Comes Up Short Against Virginia

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - In its first of four straight matches in the Sunshine State, Boston College lost to Virginia, 6-1, on Monday, March 3 at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla.
The Eagles' lone win came from junior Emily Hellberg (Spring Lake, Mich.), who beat the Cavaliers' Kristen James after James retired. At the time she retired, James was up a set and the second set was tied 4-4.
BC falls to 6-5 with the loss while UVA improves to 5-3.
The Eagles continue their Spring Break trip Wednesday, March 5, when they face No. 21 Miami at 5 p.m.
