Syracuse Tops Women's Lacrosse, 14-6

Syracuse, N.Y. - Boston College scored the first goal to take an early lead, but the Syracuse lacrosse squad quickly answered back, and would eventually top the Eagles, 14-6, in a BIG EAST Conference game in Syracuse, N.Y. on Friday evening.
Syracuse took an 8-4 lead into the halftime break, and would hold Boston College to just two goals in the second frame. The Orangewomen outshot the Eagles, 32-17, and also held a 22-11 advantage in the groundball category.
Sophomores Susie Breaznell and Courtney Legath led BC with two points each. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 1-3 on the season, and 0-2 in BIG EAST play.
Boston College returns to Chestnut Hill to host the Fairfield Stags on Wednesday afternoon in Alumni Stadium.
