Three Fencers Qualify for NCAA Championships

New York -- Three Boston College fencers qualified to the NCAA National Championships on Sunday; Brian Sohn and Paul Taylor in men's foil and Tiffany White in women's epee. Taylor and White will be making their second trip the NCAA nationals. This is the largest contingent yet for BC.
Two other BC fencers, Elizabeth Lennox in women's foil and Dave Moyston in men's epee have been nominated from the Northeast Region for at-large selection.
Lennox and Moyston will learned Tuesday night that they have not been selected by the National Committee.
Over all, the fencers had an outstanding performance at the regionals, with fourteen out of sixteen fencers finishing better than their seed coming into the competition.
