BOSTON - The women's track and field team defeated Boston University and Providence on Friday night while the men's team finished behind the Terriers but beat the Friars on Saturday evening.

Also picking up victories were freshman Tony Calabro (Cornwall on Hudson, N.Y./Cornwall Central), who won the 1,000 in 2:29.97; sophomore Ryan Sullivan (Tewksbury, Mass./Tewksbury Memorial), who took first in the high jump; and senior tri-captain Gabe Verdaguer (Newton, Mass./Newton South), who captured the long jump with a mark of 20-0 ?.
