
Women's Tennis Shuts Out Rutgers, 7-0

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The women's tennis team blanked Rutgers, 7-0, Friday afternoon at the Flynn Recreation Complex.
The victory snapped the Eagles' three-game losing streak. All of the defeats came to nationally ranked teams.
Boston College (6-4, 3-1 BIG EAST) swept all six singles matches, with all of the wins coming in straight sets, and all three doubles matches. The Scarlet Knights drop to 2-6 overall, 1-2 in conference play.
The team hits the road for its next six matches, including its next match, against No. 41 Virginia in Coral Gables, Fla., on Monday, March 3 at 9 a.m.
