Women's Soccer Announces Signing of Three Recruits

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's soccer program has signed three players to National Letters of Intent, according to an announcement made by head coach Alison Foley. The three signees are Mary-Gene Dane (Acton, Mass.), Heather Ferron (Brookfield, Wis.) and Mary Schneck (Dix Hills, N.Y.).
Dane, a four-year starter at Acton Boxborough Regional, was the captain of her 2002 team. She earned Massachusetts All-State honors in 2001, while being named to the Boston Herald All-Star team. A member of the National Honor Society, Dane was a 2000 National Camp participant.
Ferron, a three-time captain at Brookfield Central High School, was the 2002 NSCAA Scholar All-American of the Year. She was the NSCAA All-State co-Player of the Year her junior year, along with the Gatorade State Player of the Year. Ferron also played with the Region II Olympic Development Team from 1998-2002.
Schneck, a two-time captain at Half Hollow Hills High School East, has earned all-division, all-county and all-state honors during her four-year high school career. She participated in the National Camp in 2001.
