Eagles Host Boston College Carnival

BROWNSVILLE, Vt.- The Boston College Men's and Women's Ski Teams hosted the Boston College Carnival this weekend and the Eagles came away with first and second place finishes for the men in the slalom and giant slalom, and first and sixth place finishes for the women.
On the women's side, senior Lori Williams (North Andover, Mass.) turned in first and second place finishes, and junior Erica Pylman (Old Forge City, N.Y.) finished eigth and fifth in the slalom and giant slalom, respectively. Skiing a stellar performance in the slalom was junior Jennifer Runco (Bloomfield Hills, Minn.) crossing the line in second place. Rounding out the finishers for the women were Lindsay Murray, grabbing 19th in the slalom, and Alexandra Grimley finishing 43rd in the slalom and 31st in the giant slalom.
For the men, it was senior Michael Duran (North Fayston, Vt.) leading the way for the Eagles, finishing second in both races. Senior Barry Connolly (Milton, Mass.) took home eigth in the giant slalom and ninth in the slalom, and junior David Giulietti (Farmington, Conn.) crossed the line tenth in the giant slalom and ninth in the slalom. Junior Seth Therrien (Yakima, Wash.) helped the Eagles take home first in slalom turning in a sixth place performance.
The Eagles head to the Colby-Sawyer Carnival this weekend, preparing for the NCAA Eastern Regionals beginning on February 21st.
