Katie King Makes Impact With U.S. Women's Team

SKOVDE, Sweden - Women's ice hockey assistant coach Katie King contributed to the US National Team 5-1 victory over Sweden last Saturday in the Four Nations Cup, helping the team advance to Sunday's game that brought home gold medal honors.
The Salem, N.H., native scored the final goal against Sweden with 6:21 left in the third period. King received the puck in the neutral zone from teammate Natalie Darwitz, netting the fifth goal for Team USA.
Former Eagle Gen Richardson had an assist in Saturday's game as well. Richardson had four goals and eight assists last season as a captain.
Team USA went on to beat Canada 1-0 Sunday to bring home the gold medal.
