ORONO, Maine - The Boston College women's hockey team fell to Maine, 5-0, Sunday afternoon at Alfond Arena. With the loss, the Eagles fall to 7-8-3 on the season, 0-3-3 in Hockey East action.
Maine was led by Meagan Arts, who scored three points on the day while Dawn Froats notched the shutout for the Black Bears. For the second straight day, the home team out shot Boston College and prevented it from earning its first Hockey East victory.
Sophomore goaltender Lisa Davis finished with 24 saves for BC.
The Eagles will return to Kelley Rink to face the University of New Hampshire on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m.
