Women's Cross Country No. 10 in Latest Poll

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's cross country team is ranked 10th in the FinishLynx/NCAA national poll. The Eagles are off to a quick start this season, running to first-place finishes at Central Connecticut State University and the University of New Hampshire.
The Eagles are one of five BIG EAST schools to place in the top 30, with Georgetown at No. 2, Notre Dame at No. 5 and the Eagles all featured in the top 10. Providence, ranked No. 13, and Villanova, No. 16, round out the BIG EAST contingent.
The Eagles return to action Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Indiana State Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. The race will serve as the Pre-NCAA meet, as Indiana State will host the NCAA Championships on Monday, Nov. 25.
