Three More Added To Women's Soccer Roster

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Head coach Alison Foley and the Boston College women's soccer program continues to add depth to its 2002 roster with the additions of Rebecca Miller (Gladwyne, Pa.), Katherine Cisto (Oxford, Conn.) and Meighann Recile (New Haven, Conn.).
Miller comes to the Heights via the University of Southern California where she was apart of the Trojans' team for one season. The to-be sophomore will give Boston College added depth at the forward and midfield positions. One of Miller's accomplishments includes winning a national championship in 2000 while being a member of her club team, La Force. While at USC, she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and National Collegiate Honors Society.
Cisto will give the Eagles added depth at the goalkeeper position. She will contend with Boston College junior Elyse Meredith and incoming freshman Kate Taylor for the starting spot. While at Sacred Heart Academy, she recorded 18 shutouts and a .850 save percentage over her four years. Cisto was named to the All-Southern Connecticut Conference Quinnipiac Division Team in 2000 and 2001. From an academic standpoint, she finished ranked fourth in her graduating class, and she was named to the Southern Connecticut Conference All-Star Academic team her sophomore, junior and senior years.
Recile will mostly see action as a defender for the Eagles in 2002. While at Hamden Hall Country Day School, she earned all-league and prep school all-star honors from 1998-2001. She also earned all-state honors in Connecticut from 1999-2001, while also earning All-New England honors in 2001. While in high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Cynthia and Lawrence Miller ... born on March 7, 1982 ... a well-rounded athlete, Miller was the starting point guard for her high school varsity basketball team ... will be enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... Rebecca has two sisters, Erica (21) and Christina (18), and one brother, Andrew (15) ... member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation ... while at USC, she was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and National Collegiate Honors Society for Freshmen ... goal is to attend law school or graduate school to obtain her master's in business administration following her graduation from Boston College.

Before BC: Over her four years at Sacred Heart Academy, she recorded 18 shutouts and a .850 save percentage ... named to the All-Southern Connecticut Conference Quinnipiac Division Team in 2000 and 2001 ... nominated by the Greater New Haven Soccer Officials Association for the Outstanding Athlete of the Year award ... while playing for her under-17 club team, Arsenal, we won a Nordic Cup Championship and was a semifinalist at the Open Cup.
Personal: Daughter of Laurie and Richard Cisto ... born on December 4, 1984 ... a well-rounded athlete, Cisto played basketball and lacrosse while in high school ... will be enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... Before BC: Earned all-league and prep school all-star honors from 1998-2001 ... named all-state in Connecticut from 1999-2001 ... earned All-New England honors in 2001 ... was named captain and the team's most valuable player at Hamden Hall Country Day in 2001 ... high school's offensive player of the year from 1998-2001 ... tallied 116 goals in high school, which is a record at Hamden Hall Country Day School ... member of the Connecticut Olympic Development Team from 1998-2001.
Personal: Daughter of Alison Recile ... born on May 6, 1984 ... a well-rounded athlete, Recile played basketball and field hockey while in high school ... undeclared major ...
