Chestnut Hill, MA - The Boston College women's tennis team dropped a close home match to Brown, 4-3, Sunday afternoon. With the loss, Eagles fall to 2-8 overall and have lost their last seven games. In BIG EAST play, however, they are 2-0.
BC won the doubles point, the first singles match, and the sixth singles match. Local products Allison Ashley (Chestnut Hill, MA) and Ruta Veitas (Braintree, MA) were the singles winners for the Eagles.
Boston College will next travel to Miami for a three-game swing. The Eagles will play Miami (March 22), Denver (March 23), and West Virginia (March 24) in Coral Gables this weekend.
