Wrestling Defeated by Brown and Drexel Universities

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - This past weekend the Boston College wrestling squad traveled to Brown University in Providence, R.I., to take on teams from Brown and Drexel Universities. Overall, the Eagles were defeated twice, bringing their record down to 1-12 on the season and 0-4 in the CAA Conference. CAA Conference member Drexel University defeated the Eagles by a tally of 52-6 while Brown was victorious 30-3.
Freshman grappler Nate Poole earned Boston College's six points against Drexel by pinning Drexel's Scott Mohr at the 5:17 mark. In his match-up against Brown's Sean Culin, Poole was pinned at 4:27. Poole's overall record on the season now stands at 2-7 (1-2, CAA Conference). Against Brown, senior Evan Williams defeated Rudy Breyston 8-3, improving his record to 7-5 on the season.
The Eagles will compete next on Wednesday, February 6 against the Terriers of Boston University. The competition will take place at BU, starting at 7 p.m.
