CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Women's Hockey East Association honored two Boston College players in this week's edition of their weekly release. Junior Alaina Clark was named TPS Louisville Co-Player of the Week, sharing the award with Danielle Culgin of Providence College. Sophomore goaltender Lisa Davis made the Hockey East Honor Roll for her performance this week.
Clark netted Boston College's lone goal in the inaugural Women's Hockey East league game on Friday night when the Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision to Providence College. On Sunday, the junior forward scored another goal (her fourth of the season) and notched her third assist in BC's 3-3 tie with Northeastern. She currently leads her team with seven points in five games, good for second in the conference.
Davis was named to the Honor Roll for her outstanding performance in goal against the Huskies. She stopped 46 of 49 shots on goal, including four in overtime, allowing BC to come back and tie Northeastern.
