Sarah Rahko Earns All-BIG EAST First Team Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer junior Sarah Rahko was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team for the second consecutive season. In 19 games for the Eagles this season, Rahko tallied four goals and dished out 10 assists for 18 points. She is tied for third in the BIG EAST in assists, while leading the team in that category.
The Eagles also boasted a selection to the BIG EAST All-Rookie Team as freshman Katie McGregor earned the honor. In 19 games for BC, McGregor tallied three goals and five assists for 11 points.
The awards were announced Thursday night at the league's annual championship banquet. Voting was conducted among the league's 14 head coaches.
The Eagles are in a holding pattern, waiting to see if they receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. The 64-team field will be selected Monday, Nov. 11 at 4:30 p.m., with coverage provided by ESPNEWS. Locally, the selection show can be seen on NESN.
