Quandt Named Rookie of the Week

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Alison Quandt (Wayland, Mass.) received the award for Rookie of the Week as announced by the Hockey East Association on Monday. The freshman goaltender earned the honor for her outstanding performance of late.
In two starts, Quandt has given up just one goal. She stopped eight shots en route to her first collegiate victory and shutout in a 6-0 rout of RPI. On Sunday, she made 29 saves in a 3-1 defeat of Yale University.
Quandt and the Eagles will face Union College on Friday, Nov. 29 at Kelley Rink.
