Volleyball Swept by Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova Wildcats defeated the Boston College women's volleyball team Sunday afternoon at Villanova, Pa. The three game sweep gives the Wildcats a .500 record at 16-16 overall, 5-6 in the BIG EAST. The Eagles fall to 13-17 this year, 2-9 in conference play.
Villanova appeared unstoppable at times, taking the three set victory, 30-19, 31-29 and 30-20. For Boston College, Rachel Bach recorded a team-high 13 kills.
The Eagles will return to the Heights on Friday, Nov. 15 for a 7:30 match against the University of Connecticut. Before the competition, Boston College will celebrate the careers of its three graduating seniors, Bach, Kim Carlson and Lauren Schwer. This year's senior night will be special for head coach Jackie Hadel, as she bids farewell to the members of her first official recruiting class.
