CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's swim team (0-2) lost to Marist College by a score of 91-141 Friday evening at Marist. Boston College transfer Tim Tully finished first in both the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke events.
Along with Tully's two first-place victories, the Eagles' Brandon Twitchell led the Eagles' sweep of the 200-yard breaststroke event. Proving they are deep in that event, Twitchell, Andy Naumann, and Brad O'Brien captured first, second and third, respectively. The Eagles also proved they have talent in the 400-yard freestyle relay as they dominated that event as well. Eagle captain Matthew Baker earned points in two freestyle events.
The Eagles travel to Storrs, Conn. Saturday, Oct. 26 to swim against St. John's, Fordham University, and the University of Connecticut.
